Alexis was called to the Bar in 2003, having previously worked in probation and policy development in youth justice and arrest referral.

Alexis was admitted as a solicitor in 2004 and became a Duty Solicitor the same year. She is exclusively a criminal defence practitioner and represents clients in the Crown, Magistrates and Youth Courts. She is an experienced trial advocate and regularly conducts Crown Court cases involving detailed trial preparation in relation to serious charges.
